The Space in Between Sina Khatami

The theme of Sina’s artistic practice has always been concerned with existentialist ideas that point to the state of our being in this world. This theme manifests itself through specific visualizations within various mediums such as painting, sound sculptures, and kinetic sculptures and installations. Sina graduated from the University of Victoria with a master of fine arts program. Before their residence in Victoria, Sina was living in Tehran where they participated in group exhibitions, biennales, and other award-achieving occupations. Their previous educational background consists of B. A of arts in sculpture and a diploma in painting.
